Assembly of Delegates

1. The Assembly of Delegates is the supreme organ of the Club Alpino Italiano; the delegates represent the local branches and the members.

2. The president of each section is a non-elected delegate of the local branch that he/she chairs; every year, in the local branch general assembly, the members of each section elect, from among their adult members, one further delegate every five hundred members or every fraction with not less than two hundred and fifty members.

3. Each delegate, whether elected or non-elected, can take part in the Assembly of Delegates on behalf of and also vote in the name of other delegates of the local branch to which he/she belongs or of other local branches of the same regional group up to a maximum of three; limits and methods are established by the general regulations.
